Once upon a time, this cliffside home of former uranium kingpin Charlie Steen housed Moab's finest view, dining experience, and prime rib. It slipped for a while when it was still named "Mi Vida," but 20-plus years after opening, it's still going strong thanks in part to owner John Clayton's renovations. Unquestionably, the magnificent aspect of this restaurant is the view of the Colorado River, especially at sunset. Filet mignon, roasted duck, and prime rib are some of the standby items on the menu. The escargot appetizer, baked in puff pastry with a cream sauce is definitely worth a try. Call ahead for reservations during the height of tourism season.
