One hundred and fifty million years ago this land was the stomping ground of dinosaurs. At Utah Field House of Natural History State Park you can see rock samples, fossils, Fremont and Ute Indian artifacts, and a large mural depicting the last 2.7 billion years of the Uinta Basin's geologic history. The biggest attraction for kids is undoubtedly the outdoor Dinosaur Garden with its 18 life-size dinosaur models. The Field House also doubles as a visitor center for all of Dinosaurland, so stop here for maps and guides for the entire area.
