Fodor's Review

Anasazi is a Navajo word interpreted to mean "ancient enemies." What they called themselves we will never know, but their descendants, the Hopi people, prefer the term ancestral Puebloan. This state park is dedicated to the study of that mysterious culture, with a largely unexcavated dwelling site, an interactive museum with excavated artifacts, and a reproduction of a pueblo.
