The inviting and well-stocked Robber's Roost is part bookstore, part coffee and snack bar, and part performance space, all contained in the late Utah writer Ward Roylance's practically teepee-shape house. It has books by regional authors, guidebooks, maps, and T-shirts. Unexpected offerings include authentic Native American jewelry and crafts, vintage guitars, and other stringed instruments. A seasonal Saturday farmer's market offers local breads, cheeses, pastries, and
produce. It's an excellent place to stop to browse, talk about trails, or find out what's going on around town.
