This quiet, no-surprises motel complex is tucked into the woods 6 mi from the park entrance. Most of the rooms have excellent mountain views. There's a campground on the premises.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my camping life. They allowed a group of 50 kids to set up at 10:00 pm when I was trying to get to sleep. The manager allowed them to camp on MY CAMP SITE. The kids set up 3 feet from my tent, took over my fire pit, made dinner at 11:00 and went to bed without cleaning up! All this could have been avoided if the management made them use their own camp site. The group didn’t like their “group site” so the management said it was OK to take over ours! They didn’t go to sleep until 1:30. The next day I drove down the highway to the main desk (major logistics flaw) and was accosted by the witch of a women who runs it. I tried to rationally explain the situation, but I suppose my college education was a bit above her vocabulary. Her boyfriend threatened me and my fiancé multiple times while we were calmly explaining our nightmare of a night. A nice older man sleeping in their horrible motel came down to say he had to clean his own room and take out the trash upon check in. She screamed at him, more at us and we got out of there. NEVER USE THIS PLACE!!!!!

Bryce Canyon Pines was quite a disappointment as far as the rooms go. They are very small and dated and not as clean as they should be. Service was slow at the front desk, nobody really seemed to know what was going on. My evening ended up being quite stressful because check in was such a hassle and then the room wasn't ready yet so we didn't have enough time to see the canyon like we had planned. We did however fall in love with Ethyl's Banana Blueberry pie in the Pine's Restaurant! If you're looking for nice accomodations, I'd suggest something in the town of Tropic. If you're looking for pie...Pine's is the place to go!
