Bryce Canyon National Park Sights

Junior Ranger Program

Junior Ranger Program Review

Between Memorial Day and Labor Day, children ages 6 to 12 can sign up to be Junior Rangers at the Bryce Canyon Visitor Center. The park takes that title seriously, so kids have to complete several activities such as taking a hike or attending a lecture on fire safety, water conservation, or wildlife identification. Allow three to six hours for children to work their way through the requirements. Schedules of events and topics are posted at the visitor center, Bryce Canyon Lodge, and on North and Sunset campgrounds bulletin boards.
