Not all park facilities meet federally mandated accessibility standards, but as visitation to Arches climbs, the park is making efforts to increase accessibility. Visitors with mobility impairments can access the visitor center, all restrooms throughout the park, and one campsite (#7) at the Devils Garden Campground. The Park Avenue Viewpoint is a paved path with a slight decline near the end, and both Delicate Arch and Balanced Rock viewpoints are partially hard surfaced.
Admission Fees and Permits
Admission to the park is $10 per vehicle and $5 per person on foot, motorcycle, or bicycle, good for seven days. You must pay admission to Canyonlands separately. A $25 local park pass grants you admission to both the Arches and Canyonlands parks as well as the Natural Bridges and Hovenweep national monuments for one year.
Permits are required for backcountry camping and for hiking without a park ranger in the Fiery Furnace. You can purchase a Fiery Furnace permit ($4 per adult, $2 per child ages 7-12) at the visitor center.
Arches National Park is open year-round, seven days a week, around the clock. It's in the mountain time zone.
