You can have it all at this gorgeous, classically western lodge: the Colorado River rolls by right outside your door and canyon walls reach for the sky in all their red glory. You can gaze at it all from your private riverfront patio. Rooms are Western in flavor, with log furniture, lots of wood, and Saltillo tile. Added attractions include an on-site winery, a movie memorabilia museum, as well as guided outdoor adventures. The activities staff can arrange any type of Moab adventure including rafting, hiking, biking, and 4x4 trips. Legendary Western films were shot here too, so you may want to spend a day in John Wayne's footsteps. Films shot nearby include Rio Grande and The Comancheros.The setting is fabulous, but note that you're 14 mi from town.
