Inn on Baron's Creek

Fodor's Review:

Looking for a more traditional hotel atmosphere and want to stay close to town? This locally owned operation fits the bill; it's just a couple of blocks from downtown and offers a feel unique to Fredericksburg. The staff is very friendly and happy to help give tips and advice on the best things to do around town. Four of the suites are extended-stay and include kitchen facilities. Pros: Spacious, clean rooms, friendly, helpful staff. Cons: Not the quaint experience you'd find in guesthouses or B&Bs; some residual noise when bands play at the nearby Auslander restaurant.

  • Hotel Details: 90 suites
  • In-room: refrigerator, DVD (on request), Internet, Wi-Fi.
  • Rate includes: Full breakfast
  • Credit Cards: AE, D, MC, V
