Cons
Meyer Bed and Breakfast Review
Originally a stage stop for travelers preparing to cross the Guadalupe River for the Old Spanish Trail, the Meyer is beautifully situated along the banks of Cypress Creek and is also just a few blocks' walk from town shopping. Each room and suite displays a different theme, such as the era of jazz music or an African safari. Be prepared to book here, and at most other hotels or bed-and-breakfasts more than six months in advance if you're planning to spend Thanksgiving week here (the Saturday after Thanksgiving is "Christmas in Comfort," a huge draw with lots of activities in town.
