Not 10 mi from Wimberley is a little weekend escape set on a 100-acre plot with rolling hills and enchanting vistas. You won't even have to leave the premises to forage for dinner. Instead, a five-course meal is prepared each night and served family-style to you and the other inn guests. (The inn does not serve alcohol, but you're allowed to bring your own wine.) Rooms have romantic fireplaces and views of the fiery Texas sunsets. The new spa is small, but digs in with
excellent Swedish and deep-tissue massage therapy.

This place is one of the most awesome places I have ever stayed. We stayed here for our wedding night. One the best places we have ever visited and we have been around the world in our military careers of over 30 years. What happened this November is they gave me a call and asked if I was a veteran, because they had looked back on my last visit and it appeared that I was and I said yes and they invited myself and my wife to a 5 course dinner to honor
veterans at their expense. How awesome is that. And the food was outstanding as I remembered. We went and come to find out they had given all 12 rooms away to veterans at no cost for the evening before Veterans Day. How is that for a great place?
