Fodor's Review:

Though you may only be passing through Johnson City, try to do it on an empty stomach and make a stop at the Silver K. The mashed potatoes alone are worth it. The Hill Country photography and Western paintings mixed with the Silver K's diner personality make you feel like you are in someone's home for supper.
