Tucked around the back side of the stately Ye Kendall Inn, the Limestone Grille is one of the most traditional fine restaurants in town. Low lighting and deep greens and earthy tones give the dining room a historical ambience that whispers "This is where Robert E. Lee would have dined." In fact, the Confederate general was a guest at this building's old stagecoach stop. Soups and salads are pretty straightforward with a few exciting surprises, namely the thick and hearty Texas chili served with delicious yucca-root fries. Take your time with the wine list; it's one of the most extensive in the entire region.
