Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center Review
Founded in 1980 to preserve and develop Latino arts and culture, the GCAC stages regular dance, music, and theatrical performances. It also displays the art of emerging artists and schedules various classes. Of the center's major annual events, the Tejano Conjunto Music Festival, with over 42 hours of live performances, is in May, and the Cinefestival, five days of Latino film, is in January.
