Paesanos Review

This deservedly popular spot at a bend on the San Antonio River melds fine Italian dining with a Mediterranean approach. The range of foodie-friendly dishes includes the signature shrimp paesano, a delicate and flavorful lightly breaded and baked concoction accented with lemon, butter, and garlic, which you can have as an appetizer or as an entrée. Other standouts include wood-fired pizzas, baked ziti with Italian sausage, cioppino (a seafood stew), and lemon-pepper salmon. Arrive early to nab a primo table on the outdoor patio, right next to the river.

    Terrible !! Real disappointment

This was definitely the worse restauant that we tried on the Riverwalk - the food was just aweful - I've had better at "chain" italian restaurants. We left 90% of our food on our plate & the waiter didn't even ask why ! The price wasn't bad - if the food was edible. There's too many other nice restaurants. Skip this one. Oh, the concierge at our hotel asked how we liked it and he said he was getting the same comments.
