Rudy's Country Store & Bar-B-Q

Rudy's Country Store & Bar-B-Q Review

What looks like an old gas station on the outside pumps out some of San Antonio's favorite barbecue. The wait to place your order is worth it once you bite into some tender brisket (the "sause" is on the side) or smoked turkey dry-rubbed with flavor and cooked in wood-fired pits. Everything here—including the ribs, sausages, slaw, and potato salad—is dished up on plastic plates and necessitates lots of napkins. Outdoor picnic-table seating completes the picture.
