A warm, almost clubby atmosphere—especially in the bar, with its fireplace and leather sofas—lets you know to expect more than the typicCambridge Shopping Center, al Mexican fare at this Alamo Heights mainstay. Tempting offerings as varied as grilled snapper, enchiladas verdes (covered with green tomatillo salsa), pozole, hand-made flautas, and tacos al pastor (marinated pork with pineapple) are sure to please. And don't skip out on dessert—the rich flan and decadent tres leches cake are alone worth the trip to this hacienda-inspired spot. A scrumptious brunch with mimosas is served weekends.
