Many established all-suites and extended-stay hotels provide plenty of space but fall short on style. Hyatt Place, opened in late 2007, challenges the status quo with their customary, luxurious "Grand Bed," and sleek furnishings in every room. Technology lovers enjoy the Wi-Fi throughout, flat-panel TVs, touch-screen room service, automated check-in kiosks, and the "e-room," with free computing and printing. On one of the quiet sections of the river, the hotel is a short walk from the entertainment district. Pros: Brand-new furnishings in 2007, hip and modern feel, tech-friendly. Cons: Caters primarily to business travelers, so not great for families.
