Luxury accommodations and services are offered at this hotel in the shell of the historic 19th-century L. Frank Saddlery Building with an entrance facing the River Walk. The Watermark has sleek modern rooms and suites ranging in size from 425 to 600 square feet, with 12-foot ceilings and marble whirlpool baths. Plush linens and posh toiletries are similarly luxurious. Rooms have hardwood floors, leather furniture, and wrought-iron canopy beds; some have balconies. A European-style spa offers a hair and nail salon, massages, scrubs, soaks, and other therapies. Pros: Everything a five-star hotel professes to be. Cons: Pricey, some extra charges for sundries, expensive parking.
