Le Rêve

Fodor's Review:

Largely hailed as one of the finest restaurants in the U.S., the elegant and formal La Rêve serves up romance and fine French food in equal measure. Chef Andrew Reissman marries the contemporary with the classic in (frequently updated) dishes that feature ingredients ranging from foie gras to diver sea scallops. The eight-course tasting menu with matched wines is the best way to enjoy a leisurely dining experience -- be prepared to devote two-plus hours -- perfect for special celebrations.
