Fossil Rim Wildlife Center

Fossil Rim Wildlife Center Review

Zebras in Texas? Giraffes, bison, cheetahs, ostriches, and antelopes, too. Oh, and don't forget the rhinoceroses. Just an hour or so from Fort Worth, and a few miles from Glen Rose, an 1,800-acre conservation park and educational center provides visitors with a glimpse into safari life in Africa. Both native and non-native species reside in the park, with a total of more than 1,000 animals. Visitors can drive leisurely through the site, visit the children's zoo and gift store, pull over for a picnic, trek along the ½-mile walking trail, and, maybe the best part: feed the animals. Guided tours are also available.
