Discovery Green

Fodor's Review:

Houston's newest park opened in April 2008, across from the George R. Brown Convention Center. The 12-acre greenspace features Wi-Fi access, a lake, a model-boat pond, an amphitheater, and The Grove (1611 Lamar St. 713/337-7321. www.thegrovehouston.com), serving steaks, seafood, and acclaimed burgers.
