DFW International, situated centrally between the two cities, offers about 1,900 flights daily. The airport is huge, and its five terminals are connected by a high-speed train. It's imperative when you depart from the airport that you know from which terminal you're leaving—you don't want to show up at Terminal B and then discover your airline leaves from Terminal E. Drivers can access the airport from the north or south via Highway 183 to the south and Highway 121 to the north.
Most traffic in and out of the much smaller Dallas Love Field is with Southwest Airlines. There are no international flights to and from Love Field, which is just 6 mi north of Downtown Dallas. The airport sits about halfway between I-35 to the west and the Dallas North Tollway to the east.
