Fodor's Review:

This 24-story hotel is in the middle of Downtown Dallas, at the heart of the city's arts district and near Uptown hot spots. The massive lobby has polished columns, elaborate chandeliers, and grand tapestries. The hotel was renovated in 2007, with rooms transformed with new floor coverings, beds and linens, and high-definition flat-screen televisions. Three floors have been reinvented as an exclusive boutique hotel within the hotel. Be sure to join the chain's loyalty program to avoid paying for Internet access. Pros: Proximity to attractions, refurbished interior. Cons: Lacks a sense of fun or whimsy.
