This hotel's spacious, modern rooms—renovated in 2006—have flat-screen TVs, quality bed linens, and are decorated with contemporary neutral tones. The landscaped grounds include a 12½-acre lake surrounded by a 10-km trail. The pool area is beautiful; poolside lunch service during the summer is a necessary extravagance. Pros: Family-friendly grounds, resort feel. Cons: If you want to do anything off-site, you must have transportation.
