Grapevine Vintage Railroad

Fodor's Review:

Catch a ride on this line to the Fort Worth Stockyards and back. The railroad uses either a steam engine or a diesel engine on the 90-minute one-way trip. Once in the Stockyards, you have about two hours for exploring—enough time for a quick meal and stroll through the Western sites. Train leaves Grapevine at 1 PM.

  • Open: Feb.-Mar., Fri.-Sun.; Apr.-Aug., Thurs.-Sun.; Sept.-Dec., Fri.-Sun.
