Regulars have been returning to this Far North Dallas (about 12 mi from Downtown) steak house for almost 20 years. The crowd is primarily button-down corporate during the week and couples and groups out for fun on the weekend. Popular appetizers include baked crab cakes and shrimp cocktail. The real draw is the prime beef, cut off the loin for each order; the filet mignon is another big seller.

I've eaten at this restaurant many times and unfortunately (I don't learn quickly) this week while on business, I ate at the bar (I was alone). Here is what I experienced - drunk patrons, pushing/shoving, unexcusable behavior and a confrontation with an inebriated patron. The management did nothing after I alerted them that I was having a problem other than to comp my meal. I experienced this two times in one week. Like I said, shame on my for going back. The food is good (beware, they cook their steaks at least one temperature cooler than you order)....however, I've never in 30 years of dining in fine restaurants experienced such classless patrons or indecisive management. I still don't know why they wouldn't throw these bums out. I guess a $13 martini is more important than a $80 dinner for one and a scathing review. Fodors - please post this.
