Stockyards Hotel

Fodor's Review:

A storybook place that's seen more than its share of cowboys, rustlers, gangsters, and oil barons, this hotel has been used in many a movie. If you're visiting the Stockyards, take a moment to walk through the 1907 hotel's richly appointed lobby (even if you're not a guest), sit a spell on comfy leather sofas and upholstered chairs, and watch folks walk down Exchange Avenue. There are four styles of rooms to choose from: Victorian, Native American, Mountain Man, and Western. In the Booger Red Saloon, the bar stools are saddles. Pros: In the heart of the Stockyards action, sense of history, personal service. Cons: Lacks some big-hotel amenities, street noise from Stockyards revelers.

  • Hotel Details: 52 rooms

  • In-hotel: restaurant, bar, laundry service, public Wi-Fi, parking (paid), some pets allowed, no-smoking rooms.
  • Credit Cards: AE, D, DC, MC, V
