Fodor's Review:

Built as a private residence in 1906, this tiny boutique inn with white-glove service is one of the most romantic in the city. The beautiful rooms are filled with antiques and collectibles; each has a working fireplace. Three suites have Jacuzzi tubs. The dining room (closed Sunday and Monday) is known for its $85 prix-fixe seven-course dinner. Guests can relax in a New Orleans-style courtyard. Vibrant Uptown, with dozens of dining and shopping options, is within walking distance. Pros: Ideal for romantic getaway, proximity to Uptown, personal service. Cons: Expensive, no children allowed.
