Fodor's Review:

Beer baron Adolphus Busch created this Beaux-Arts building in Downtown Dallas in 1912, sparing nothing in the way of ornamentation. In the gracious lobby, rich fabrics, dark woods, elaborate floral arrangements, and intimate seating areas belie the hustle of the streets just outside. The romantic European-style rooms, filled with unique floral prints and Queen Anne-style furniture, have modern amenities. A courtesy van takes guests to Downtown and Uptown sites and NorthPark Mall. Book early to stay at the hotel during the annual Neiman Marcus Adolphus Children's Parade, which marches in front of hotel the first Saturday in December. Pros: Smooth service, unique furnishings, sense of history. Cons: Most attractions and shopping experiences require transportation.
