This established downtown hotel, popular with business travelers, ushered in a few new much-needed updates in the past year. The highly acclaimed, Southwestern-inspired restaurant, Chavez, recently replaced a tired T.G.I.F. location, much to guests’ (and locals’) pleasure. And a newly renovated infinity pool and sun deck is chic. Many of the East Tower's two-room suites have gorgeous views of the lake or downtown. All rooms feature beds with adjustable Sleep Number mattresses. Congress Avenue, the hike-and-bike trail, and Sixth Street, are within walking distance.
