Olive & June

Gnocchi with lamb ragu

Olive & June Review

Whether you're grabbing a cocktail at the upstairs bar, sharing a few small plates with friends on the treehouse-like outdoor patio, or settling in to one of the elegant-yet-cozy booths for a romantic dinner with your honey, this Tarrytown locale serves up a satisfying lineup of simple, fresh, Italian-inspired fare. Top picks from the picolo piatti (small plates) menu include thin sheets of zucchini involtini wrapped around a decadent mushroom filling in a light tomato sauce with golden raisins, crisp saffron-infused suppli (fried risotto balls) and creamy burrata cheese with a slight sprinkle of sea salt and fresh basil on a crisp crostini. Entrees such as grilled swordfish with crushed pistachio, capers, and mint and house-made pastas such as butternut squash mezzalune with white raisin mostarda and sage round out a full meal leaving only a tiny bit of room for dessert.
