Fodor's Review:

On the western outskirts of town, the Austin Music Hall's sister venue, open from March through October, features an outdoor stage beneath a grove of oak trees. Willie Nelson kicks off the season each year, and a wide variety of performers from Lyle Lovett and David Gray to the String Cheese Incident and Sheryl Crow keeps the crowds coming. Just on the other side of The Backyard, the smaller adjoining venue, The Glenn (512/263-4146. www.theglennaustin.net), has soft grass and hillside seating for enjoying more mellow acoustic and singer-songwriter acts.
