Kids can dig for stone casts of dinosaur bones (specifically Mosasuraus Maximus) buried under sand at a covered children's playscape at this innovative park that opened in October 2007 in Austin's northwest suburbs. Features include a "whale's tail sprayscape" for cooling off overheated kids (and perhaps parents) on warm days, fabricated boulders for climbing, a fishing area, and a picnic pavilion.
