The Austin History Center

Fodor's Review:

Part of the Austin Public Library system (and next door to the central branch building), this is the central repository of all historical documents relating to Austin and Travis County (of which Austin is a part). Its more than one million items, including more than 700,000 photographic images, form a priceless collection of all things relating to Austin.
