Nashville Restaurants

Sunset Grill

Fodor's Review

Seafood, pastas, steaks, and vegetarian specials highlight the menu of this inventive restaurant. A good entrée choice is Voodoo pasta with andouille sausage, chicken, and shrimp in a roasted pepper sauce served over Cajun-spiced fettuccine. There's sublime homemade sorbet to finish your meal and 70 wines are served by the glass. A special late-night menu is served from 10 till midnight, Thursday through Saturday.

Star's in the Bar

My husband and I eat here on a regular basis. We slip into the bar where the service is great. It can get crowded, but we generally can grab two seats. The wine list is incredible and they also make great Martini's. Don't be surprised to see a Country Music Star. Many like to hang out here.

Uh, Hel-looo!

How many times has "Don" been to limited-good-restaurant-Nashville? For that matter, Fodors should come back around. Some of the best eateries are not listed here. The food at Sunset is consistantly good, and if it isn't, complain.

Fine Dining with a Country Flair

Nashville's definition of "chic" and "toney" is the ever enlarging Sunset Grill. The multiple dining rooms gives you the impression each room was part of a strip mall. The food, however, shines when you know what to order. Try to ahi tuna (assuming it's available that evening) as well any of the many pasta dishes. Avoid the "fatty stringy" veal chop. With a city with such limited choices, this places trys way to hard to be all things for some

of the people.
