  Just like grandma's

  We enjoyed visiting this family owned restaurant. Make sure you meet the owner. Great lady! The salad bar was very fresh and had homemade salads. My favorites are the cottage cheese salad and cucumber salad. The fried chicken is the best! Green beans seasoned with ham and peach cobbler that would rival my grandmother's recipes anyday. And check out the homemade pecan pie! I'm told it's there on Sunday lunch only.

  The cold bar was not that great and had limited selection. There daily catfish and baked chicken sign is only Mon-Sat. Isn't Sunday apart of daily?? People were nice and the server was good. Overall food is average,compared to other Smorgasbords, nothing that stood out. Not sure if worth the $12.50. Maybe $8.50. Judge for yourself.

  How on earth did this place get listed. Selection is average, but food is generally tasteless. I am very disappointed that Fodor lists this as now I cannot trust other listings. I had never found a cole slaw I didn't like until I tasted what was served here.
