Shopping Overview
Grocery stores, fast-food outlets, and gas stations are clustered in Cherokee, Sylva, and Bryson City on the North Carolina side of the park. Stores are few and far between on Route 28 from outside Bryson City to Fontana Village.
While cheap souvenir shops abound in the area, fine arts and crafts that meld utility and aesthetics are also an Appalachian hallmark.
