Jarrett House

Fodor's Review:

The food ($$) here may not win any awards for creative cooking, but folks love the mountain trout, country ham with red-eye gravy, and fried chicken at the Jarrett House, in continuous operation since 1884 and now on the National Register of Historic Places. Rooms in this three-story country inn, with porches on all three levels, are small and unpretentious, but you can't beat the location right across from Dillsboro's shops and the train depot.
