Ranger-led hayrides occur at various times during the year, often at 5 pm in summer and fall. Call the Cades Cove Riding Stables to confirm dates and times of ranger-led rides. A ranger explains the history and talks about wildlife in the cove. Hayrides start at Cades Cove Riding Stables and cost $17. They last about 2 hours, depending on traffic on the Cades Cove Loop. The riding stables also offer regular (non-ranger-led) hayrides several times a day, including at 6 pm, from mid-March to early December ($15).
