Fodor's Review

The Qualla Arts and Crafts Mutual, across the street from the Museum of the Cherokee Indian, is a cooperative that displays and sells items created by 300 Cherokee craftspeople. The store has a large selection of extraordinary high-quality baskets, masks, and wood carvings, some of which can cost hundreds of dollars. Many items are of museum or near-museum quality, and there's a central gallery with truly wonderful Cherokee arts and crafts on display (items in the gallery

are not for sale).
