Fodor's Review

This colorful, well-staged history of the Cherokee begins at the time of Spanish explorer Hernando de Soto's visit in 1540 and continues to the infamous Trail of Tears. The show runs from early June to mid-August, and reserved-seat tickets start at $20 ($10 for children 6–12, free for children 5 and under). First presented in 1950, the drama has been updated with a new script and new costumes. More than 6 million people have seen the play over the years. Contemporary

plays are presented in the Mountainside Theater as well.
