At this picturesque restaurant with a nautical theme, the best seats are in the windowed porch room, which overlooks the ocean. The fireplace in the wood-panel dining room inside is warmly welcoming on cool off-season evenings. Menu highlights include Lowcountry crab casserole and avocado-seafood salad. The breads and desserts are baked on the premises.

We ahve been to this restaurant several times over the last 10 years. Our visit this week was disappointing. The menu is changed for the worse. The scallops were overcooked. The grits were mushy.
