Fodor's Review:
After 66 years, the Driftwood came under new ownership in 2005, but it remains one of the few small, independent hotels in Myrtle Beach. Its well-maintained facilities and reasonable rates are especially popular with families. Some rooms are on the oceanfront, and all are decorated in sea, sky, or earth tones.
