$$-$$$$, Myrtle Beach
Fodor's Review:
This complex includes two hotels, as well as restaurants, shops, and one- to three-bedroom condominiums and villas, on 145 acres of ocean-side woodlands. One hotel, an Embassy Suites, has guest rooms with bleached-wood furnishings and kitchenettes. The other, a Hilton, has a more classic decor and no kitchen facilities. The villas and condos are privately owned, but you can reserve one through the central booking number and Web site. Although these options are decorated to the taste of their owners, they all have the same standard amenities such as sheets and towels, and kitchen equipment. Beachgoing is enhanced by a beach club with bathrooms, water fountains, and parking.
