With its round, glass-encased tower, cantilevered lobby windows, sweeping staircases and curved balconies, the Sheraton is a stylish addition to the landscape. Although the blond-wood-appointed rooms have an airy feel, the atmosphere is more that of an urban hotel than a beach one: amenities include in-room coffee service and super-luxe bedding rather than microwaves or a children's program. The hotel is connected to the Myrtle Beach Convention Center.
