$-$$$$, Seafood, Murrells Inlet
Fodor's Review:
You can smell the brine and Old Bay seasoning the minute you leave your car and head toward the front door of Nance's. There's not much atmosphere, but that's okay. Oysters, the small local ones that taste of saltwater and seaweed, are the specialty, available raw or steamed in an iron pot and served with butter. There are other selections on the menu, but it's really all about the oysters -- and the 10-layer chocolate cake, made specially for Nance's by a local baker.
