They're closed at lunchtime, on Sunday, and in winter; they don't take reservations or have a view, but nobody fries up a mess of seafood like Lee's. Even the biggest eaters will get their fill when they order the Shore Dinner: fried or broiled flounder, shrimp, oysters, scallops, deviled crab, and lobster, along with a shrimp cocktail, clam chowder, hush puppies, fries, and coleslaw. Sure, you can get your fish broiled or grilled, but why mess with deep-fried perfection?

A dear friend of mine recommended Lee's two years ago and I am so glad they did! It is my favorite restaurant on the Grand Strand, (and believe me, we have eaten at pretty much every restaurant down there)and the best seafood you will ever have! The grilled choice platter is fanatastic- lots of shrimp, fish and scallops, and my husband's fried seafood platter was wonderful. Try the key lime pie- it's homemade and delicious- we pre-order a whole one everytime we go!
