Everyone calls this restaurant the Freeport Marina because of its location. A cold beer may be in order at the colorful bar that plays reggae and rock tunes, especially after a warm-water boat ride. This outpost, with its rough-hewn tables facing the water, serves up surprisingly good fare. The specialties are deviled crab and chicken salad on buttery grilled rolls. Many also enjoy the Lowcountry buffet with its pulled pork and sides like butter beans and potato salad.
Dinner entrées include shrimp, rib eyes, and the catch of the day.
