Painted a textured yellow, this mobile food shack is actually on the island's main paved road, not the eponymous dirt road. You place your order and then sit on makeshift tables under an umbrella as golf carts continue to pull up. The cheeseburgers are perhaps the best on the island as are the sweet-potato fries. The golden-fried-grouper sandwich with romaine and tomatoes is the high-ticket item at $9, but worth every penny. Bring cash—the Dirt Road doesn't accept credit cards. The BLT wrap is very heavy on the bacon. Breakfast, from 8 to 10, is the usual eggs and java.
